General Terms and Conditions of Sale – MANCHEC Taxi
MANCHEC Taxi is a passenger transportation company based in Pallud (Savoie, France), specialising in private transfers between the airports (Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry, Grenoble) and the ski resorts of the Tarentaise valley
.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern all services offered via the website www.manchec-taxi.com and apply to any client making a reservation.
1. Purpose and Scope
These terms define the rights and obligations of both parties regarding the reservation, payment and execution of private transport services provided by MANCHEC Taxi.
Any booking made on the website or through any means of contact (form, phone, email, WhatsApp) implies full acceptance of these terms by the client.
2. Service Booking
Reservations can be made:

or via phone, WhatsApp or email.

The client must provide accurate and complete information (name, flight number, date, time, pick-up and drop-off location, number of passengers, luggage, etc.).

MANCHEC Taxi cannot be held liable for any errors in the information provided that may cause delays or make it impossible to perform the service.
3. Prices and Payment Terms
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included.
They include private transport from the pick-up point to the arrival point, tolls and standard luggage.

The reservation becomes effective upon receipt of a fixed deposit of €50 per trip, paid via the secure Stripe payment module or any other accepted payment method.

The remaining balance must be paid directly to the driver at the end of the trip, by card, cash, or bank transfer (subject to prior agreement).
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
The client may cancel their booking by informing MANCHEC Taxi by email or phone.

The €50 deposit paid at booking is non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date or reason.
This deposit covers administrative fees, vehicle blocking and driver scheduling.

If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before departure, the full amount of the transfer may be charged if the vehicle is already allocated.

If cancellation is due to MANCHEC Taxi (exceptional weather, road closure, breakdown, serious illness), the deposit will be fully refunded.
5. Flight or Train Delays
MANCHEC Taxi monitors real-time flight updates when the client has provided this information.

No extra fee is applied for moderate delays (under 60 minutes).
Beyond one hour of delay without information from the client, the driver may leave the pick-up point and the service may be considered cancelled without refund of the deposit.
6. Transport Conditions
The client agrees to respect the vehicle, behave appropriately and not disturb the driver.
Seatbelt use is mandatory.

Animals are accepted under certain conditions (to be mentioned during booking).
MANCHEC Taxi reserves the right to refuse a passenger who is intoxicated or behaving dangerously, without refund of the deposit.
7. Liability
MANCHEC Taxi cannot be held liable for:

delays caused by external circumstances (snow, accidents, road closures, border controls, etc.),

forgotten items in the vehicle,

indirect damages linked to delays or cancellations beyond our control.

All passengers are covered by our professional insurance during the journey.
The data collected (name, email, phone, flight number, etc.) is used solely for managing reservations and is never shared with third parties without client consent.

The client has the right to access, modify or delete their data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679).

French law is the only applicable law.
