The Petit-Saint-Bernard Pass is closed to road traffic during the winter season.
Airport transfers to La Rosière therefore normally approach the resort through the Tarentaise Valley, Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Montvalezan.
A map may sometimes suggest a route through Italy and the mountain pass, but this should not be considered a normal winter alternative.
